I just downloaded and installed Trackskull today, but have not been able to get it to show feedback or to output to my 3-axis skull.

I'm using joystick input from a Logitech Attack 3, and the sliders show that the input is being received. I've checked and rechecked the servo and port settings copied from VSA. I'm using an SV203 servo controller. I've connected to it for puppet mode. But I get nothing in the feedback windows and no output to the skull.

I have tried it on 2 different computers, one running Vista and one running Windows 7. Both have the required versions of .NET framework and DirectX.

The skull works with events programmed directly in VSA.

I can't figure out what I'm missing.
Issue:
The feedback display (green dots on black background) pictured below does not show the full area of a TrackIR 5 camera. TrackIR 4 has a resolution of 355x288 which is what is shown in TrackSkull, however TrackIR 5 has a resolution of 640x480, meaning you are only seeing the upper-left corner of the actual display.

Hi,

Well in a couple days I will finally be able to get the servos for my third skull. I have one of the control cards and it looks like you can run 3 skulls off it. At least that is what I'm hoping. I'm not running eye movement in any of them. I see that you offer a card/wires/and routine but, I'm looking for just the wires from the servos to the card. For 3 skulls. That would be 12 in total. Preferrably in 8' lengths. Would you be willing to do a custom oder for just the wires and how much would it be? I do need the connector ends on the wires since I have no idea of what I would be doing. Later after the new year I can start ordering more cards and eye kits but, just too strapped at this time.

Thanks

Hello!

It's about a month ago that I posted my last message.
So, I want to ask how everyone is doing?

I have a question (duh).

A few months ago I received my servo's from RobotShop.

It's fun to play around with, but not exactly what I want.

I got 2 of the Hitec HS-422.
Those servo's aren't that good.
They are really noisy!
I can't hear the music at all.
I need to turn the volume at around 80% from 100.
Normally I put the volume at 30%.

Another big problem is the movment.
They aren't that smooth...
When they have too much weight on them they begin to shake.

So, what kind of servo did you use for your animatronic?

I hope you can answer

Can it be done... YES!!!

You can use the Triggers feature to initiate any routine in a playlist.

Question: Wait, I thought triggers were for the parrallel port?
Answer: True, but you can use a HotKey to trigger them too!

The triggers can be launched with a key combination of ALT + {Input #} So [ALT] + [1] would trigger Input 1, [ALT] + [2] = Input 2, so forth...

Remember to enable and configure your triggers by clicking the 'Edit' button. You can then select the behavior your want and which routine to play.
